Selling your website
A good sale starts with numbers a buyer can check. Before we list a site, we ask for:
- Read-only access to Google Search Console and Google Analytics
- Payout records from your ad network or affiliate programs for the last 6 to 12 months
- A list of monthly costs: hosting, content, tools and any paid traffic
- Where the content came from, and whether you own all of it
Once we have seen the numbers, you get a written valuation with a price range and the reasons behind it. There is no obligation to list, and listing is free. We charge a commission only when the sale completes.
What raises a site’s value
- Steady or growing traffic over at least a year
- Income from more than one source
- Little work needed from the owner each week
- Clean history: no manual actions, no bought traffic, no copied content
Buying a website
Tell us your niche, budget and how much time you want to spend on the site each week. We send matching listings that have passed our checks, each with:
- Read-only Search Console access so you see the traffic yourself
- 6 months of earnings proof
- A summary of risks we found, such as one page bringing most of the traffic
Ask the seller anything before you make an offer. We pass questions on and share the answers in writing.
How escrow protects both sides
The buyer pays into escrow, not to the seller. The money stays there while the domain, files, email and accounts move to the buyer. The seller is paid only after the buyer confirms they have full access. If the transfer does not complete, the buyer’s money goes back to them.
Every sale also has a written agreement between buyer and seller that covers the price, what is included and the handover steps. See our terms for how we handle sales.
How do you value a website?
Mostly on average monthly profit over the last 6 to 12 months, multiplied by a figure that depends on the site's age, traffic trend and how many income sources it has. Content sites commonly sell for about 25 to 45 times monthly profit.
How do you check a seller's numbers?
We ask for read-only access to Google Search Console and Analytics and for payout records. A listing gets the verified label only after we have seen them.
How is the payment protected?
The buyer pays into escrow. The seller is paid only after the domain, files and accounts have moved to the buyer.
What does selling cost?
Listing is free. We charge a commission only when the sale completes.
